Use Those Notes!
Sometimes putting together all your notes into a cohesive paper can be the most challenging part of writing. Not to worry! Simply by blending your notes with paraphrasing, quoting, and summarzing will assit you in developing a stronger paper. Remember to include in-text or parenthetical citation!
You might want to consider the following points:
- Paraphrasing = at least one paraphrased statement per paragraph
- Quoting = use two to three direct quotes throughout your paper
- Summarize = use in the opening and/or concluding paragraphs
